Every year, Coachella jump-starts the spring and summer concert season plus it is the unofficial date that marks the beginning of summer fashion styles. Even though the main stars of Coachella are the professional stars on the platform, we are more interested what our favorite celebrities wore to one of the biggest fashion events of the year.
Their styles will define what we will be wearing and not wearing this summer. There was a bohemian, whimsical and western trend happening this year at Coachella. Kendall Jenner, Shay Mitchell and Winnie Harlow were some of our favorites this year.
Kendall Jenner
We loved how Jenner reinvented the old Hollywood glam look with a splash of personality with a cute little sundress with over-the elbow gloves. We loved the combination of the lime green booties with light blue dress.
Sara Sampaio
We love how the Victoria’s Secret model showed us how to look feminine while following this year’s 80’s punk rocker trend. The daisy chains on her black-netted crop top and skirt held the essence of the era of flower power.
Winnie Harlow
This Canadian supermodel keeps motivating the world that beauty doesn’t have to be generic. We adored the utter simplicity of her destroyed hi-waist denim jeans with the bright red crochet top.
Vanessa Hudgens
For the last few years, Vanessa Hudgens has been the star of Coachella on stage and off. She was spotted on one of the first days of the festival in this absolutely delightful Bohemian style fringed maxi-dress.
Shay Mitchell
Shay Mitchell showed us that the western trend doesn’t have to look tacky. We loved how she switched up cowboy boots for an ultra cute ankle boot and the crocheted skirt with the fringe just set the tone for the whole festival.
Paris Hilton
Paris is mostly missing in action these days, but she made a rare unexpected appearance at Coachella and she didn’t disappoint. Her sleek cat woman body hugging dress that almost had glow-in-the dark design. Reminding us more of a green glow stick than cat woman.
Emily Ratajkowski
Emily stole the show at the Launch Party in Palm Springs with her polka dotted skirt and cropped top. If you haven’t noticed, crop tops of all types did dominate Coachella this year.
Gigi Hadid
Gigi mastered bringing all of this year’s biggest fashion trends in one outfit and the overall consensus is we LOVE it. Her tie-dyed vest with the white crop peaking out from underneath was perfect. All of her accessories just screamed Coachella.
Katy Musgraves
Musgraves shook Coachella not only for her performance on stage but for her one of a kind fringed ensemble. The gold belt perfectly completed her look. Plus, we loved how she let her hair down for the show, the perfect combination of bohemian meets western.
Olivia Culpo
This model’s yellow romper certainly turned heads this year at Coachella. We loved how her nude toned ankle booties were the ideal complement to the cute little romper, which we want to wear this summer.
Kate Bosworth
Kate showed us that an all-white outfit is stylish and that all you need is a pair of polka-dot platform shoes to pull the look together.
